Big Girl Room

We have been working on Lauryn's big girl room! She started sleeping in the "big" bed about a month ago. She is doing awesome! I think the first night she got out of bed but has not since. We have had a couple of mornings that she was up before 6. She's gets up and starts playing or waking up her sisters.

Here is a sneak preview of her room. This room is actually going to be Landree's (we think). I'm not sure Lily will let Landree sleep by herself. Hopefully in the next year we will transition Lauryn into the bunkbeds and Landree into this room. I hope by then she likes pink. I'm not sure Al is willing to help paint the room for the 4th time.

I still need to get a headboard or I'm thinking about making an upholstered one.


Our chair makeover. I want to add a little stand for a lamp.


My favorite thing in the room! I love this chandelier. We got it from a lady Al knows. She was having a huge garage sale and told us to stop by the day before. She said if you want anything take it. This was sitting all by it's lonesome. It was a gold color. It was the type you see hanging above a dining room table in the 70's. It looks awesome painted.
