Toothless

Landree had just the 1 tooth in the top front for the longest time! It looked so awful. She accidentally bumped the first one on a horn and was able to pull it right out. Landree came to crawl in bed with me one morning and I was teasing her again about her "snarly tooth". We started to wrestle around and she jumped up real quick and ran to the bathroom. I thought, oh, no another bloody nose. But nope I had knocked her tooth looser. I told her she was not going to school with it hanging like this...

So she worked it, and worked it. I got tired of her working it.

So I grabbed ahold of her and I think barely bumped it (again) it it fell right out in her mouth. So now we have our own "Toothless".

Pool Partay

We met some really nice families in Zion last weekend. They invited us to their sons pool party birthday on Sunday. So, it was the girls' first official pool party of the season. The water was a bit cold but the girls braved it.

Pinatas are always fun too!

Our next pool party is Saturday!

Birthday Dinner and Cake

We had Applebees for dinner and then went back to Grandpa and Grandma's for cake and presents.
Landree and her gifts. She got her crown from school and was able to wear it all day.

The cake was from Nothing Bundt Cake. Chocolate, chocolate chip with cream cheese frosting and of course purple embellishments.

One of her "cool" outfits. She has wanted to wear this every day. She is so hip!

Lovin' Bein' Seven

SEVEN...

SEVEN...

Landree did not want anything PINK for her birthday. Her new favorite color is purple. She is already getting ready to go to K-State!

Birthday wishes- Aqua Sand, Fashion Designer, Bubble Gum Machine, Meatball Game, playdoh
Birthday gifts- lots of cute clothes from Justice, a purse full of purse "goodies", Legos (her favorite gift), Playdoh, Nail kit, and many, many more things, my girl is spoiled rotten! Landree and I went shopping a few weeks ago and she picked out a pretty dress to wear for her birthday. She unwrapped the dress (the one in the pictures) for her birthday morning. Lily picked out the cupcake necklace.

Landree does awesome in school. She is advanced in reading and rarely gets anything wrong on her paperwork. We have more problems with her behavior. Landree is very stubborn and does things when she is ready. So the teacher has had problems with her following directions the first time. I am happy to report she has had 2 1/2 weeks with excellent days. This has allowed her to get her finger nails painted at a spa and ice cream at her favorite shop. She is looking forward to her next reward. I hope the good behavior continues.

Landree has lost a total of 6 teeth. The bottom 4 and the top 2 fell out last month. I still need to post about that. One of the top teeth just started coming down yesterday.

Landree's favorite things to do is play outside, rollerskating, riding bikes, playing ball, swinging, climbing, jumping... She enjoys reading. We have been reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid. She still loves to draw, color and create.

Landree would be an amazing softball player if she paid attention. She is still very good and hits the ball really well. Her goal for next season is to play pitcher. Al and I hope to work with her a lot this summer at the batting cages and throwing. She has also been talking a lot about golf. So we are looking at getting junior clubs and taking her out. Al is excited he may just have a new golf buddy!

My most favorite thing about my girl is she is always positive. She is friends with everyone. She rarely says anything negative. I always thought it was difficult for her to find friends but she is just friends with everyone. We are changing schools next year. Landree is excited and we are not worried at all about her adjusting.

Bad Girl!

As I was saying, she is a little stink pot. Landree and Lily have never written like this on themselves! We have a table set up for the girls for crafts, games, and puzzles as well as an easel. Lauryn loves to color on the easel. She came to me the other day looking like this. Don't you just love her morning hair! It's so curly and out of control.

This is where she went after the second time of coloring on her arms. Oh, and the last time. She knows when she's in trouble where to go. I was holding back chuckles and I had to take a picture.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Al and I decided last week to spend the weekend in Zion. So after the girls' softball game Saturday we headed up to Utah. We stayed in a little cabin at the Zion River and RV Resort.

The resort was so nice. Al and I are already looking forward to going back. As soon as we got there the girls and Al hit the pool. It was the first day of the year they have been swimming. They are now so excited for Grandpa and Grandma's pool to warm up. Lauryn was a little fish. After swimming the girls headed off to the kids craft for Mother's Day. They took pictures of all the mothers and then the kids made a craft with our pictures. I'll have to post the nice gift they made for me! After dinner we roasted marshmallow's and then hit the hay.

On Sunday we went for another swim before heading off to Zion. We stopped and did some hiking.

Had some lunch...

And drove through beautiful Zion. The weather was perfect, the scenery was perfect, and the girls were ummmmm, perfect (right- more like exhausted!)

The family- I love how Lauryn's little shorts are riding up. She looks like a little chunk but is really pretty average in size. Just a little stink-pot.

Saturday with the Litzen's

Landree and Lily had a softball game Saturday morning. After we all went to the Springs Preserve.

Olivia jumping as far as a fox.

Almost everyone...Lauryn was goofing around and I was taking the picture.

The rest of the day...

After the Sharks Reef Megan and I went to the District to start our shopping. We love to shop especially together. Al and Marc took the girls to Bass Pro Shop and then met us at the District for lunch at Al's Garage.

Ummm, Lily has your Daddy not taught you anything? She looks pretty darn serious pointing that gun!

These 2 were pretty much inseparable.

After our busy day we went home to barbeque and hang out.

Sharks Reef at Mandalay Bay

Al's sister, Megan, and her family came to visit a couple weekends ago. We had a GREAT time! Our weekend was packed full of fun. I think the girls just had fun playing with their cousins. Our first stop Friday morning was to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. It is a favorite for the girls.
Lauryn loved looking at the fish. She was surrounded!

Girls, Girls, Girls...

Sophie loved touching the fish with Uncle Al's help.

Lauryn wanted to just climb in the tank. I had to hold her back.

Checking out all of the fish.
