Cheap

But YUMMY! Good thing the girls like Ramen Noodles!

Softball

Landree started coach-pitch softball last week with a league from ASA. We really got lucky with her team. She showed up last week for practice and her coach is her librarian and her husband! She has had 2 games so far. We are having so much fun with it. She really enjoys it so far. They had a game tonight and on the way home I asked her if she had fun. She said, "I was a little bored". She always wants to be in the action. For 5 years old she bats great! She's hitting the ball on the first or second pitch. She played the right field and short stop as well. The ball went to her a couple times and she threw it back to the pitcher. I think the times she gets bored is in the field just waiting for the ball. After the game one of the coaches said to me that she was really doing a good job. He said half the battle is the girls wanting to play and she wants to play. I hope she'll always want to play for Al's sake. He wants a little Jenny Finch!

6 Months

6 months...half way to 1 year. So hard to believe my baby is getting big! At 6 months she is sleeping between 10 and 11 hours a night and naps 3-4 hours during the day! Finally, we are sleeping well except for the occasional 3 year old snuggled in. Lauryn still loves to eat. She likes most of the food from the jars. I have yet to find one she will not eat, but if I feed her any fruit first she doesn't want anything to do with the vegetables. She enjoys being outside. When we work in the yard we put her in the saucer or swing and she hangs out. She is so ticklish on her arms, legs, belly, and neck. I want to record her laughing and put it on YouTube. Yesterday at the grocery store I had 2 different people tell me she looks like the Gerber baby. She still is my happy smiley baby and I love her (& her goofy sisters)!

Looks Like...

Lauryn! I just ran across this picture of Landree. In this picture she is around the same age as Lauryn is now. Their faces are so much alike. It's crazy the amount of hair Landree had and how little Lauryn has.

Butterflies

For Christmas Lily received a "Butterfly Tree House". The girls watched as the caterpillars made their cocoons and then shed their shell and became butterlies. There were 5 Monarch's that made it. We released them into the backyard when they were ready. Landree and Lily really enjoyed watching each stage.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The gang at the parade- the blond on the opposite end of Lily was a girl sitting next to us. Her Granny had a huge canary diamond, I couldn't keep my eyes off of it!

Al mohawked his hair for fun. We were going to try to paint it green but couldn't find any.

We ventured to Target after the parade with 5 girls! Thank goodness they had some pretty cool shopping carts so we could keep them contained.

Lion's, Landree's and Lily's

Landree is pointing out where the lion slobbered all over the glass. Gross!

Lily watching the people next to us...not the lion.

yep, that's the lion

Oh My! (How crafty is that?) Landree has been on the dreaded Track Break. Thank goodness she goes back to school next week! I took the girls down to see the Lions last Tuesday and Al met us there. They had fun watching the lion circle the cage eating meat from its trainer, playing with a gigantic dog bone and just being a plain ol' lion. How fun....

Water Baby

Lauryn went in the hot tub for the first time yesterday. The water was luke warm and she LOVED it! She was kicking her legs like crazy. I am excited to see how she will be in the pool this summer.

Spring!

One of our favorite things to do when the weather is nice is eat outside! Yesterday we spent most of the day in the backyard and had a nice "picnic" lunch. (& enjoy mugs of beer :)

Cookies, Cookies, Cookies

Cookie Sales are on! We had a cookie booth last weekend at Lowe's. The girls have been doing a great job! We are raising lots of money for the troop. Thanks to you all that bought some!

5 for 5

Lauryn is ALREADY 5 months old! Time has flown by. She is such a happy, joyful baby. Her smile melts my heart.

Will and Kim's daughter was baptized on Sunday. They had a dinner after and Lauryn played in a Jumper. She didn't get the jumping down but she enjoyed playing with all the toys. She grabs everything (including hair)!

Lauryn has been sticking her tongue out a lot. We were trying to get her to stick it out so I could get a picture but she was too fast for the camera. At least I got Landree's hanging out!

Sun kissed. We went to the park yesterday and all got a little "sun kissed". It was such a nice day out! I didn't realize how much sun Lauryn was getting but when we got home she had rosy cheeks.

She still looks just like her daddy. Everywhere we go people always comment that she looks just like Al. I think it's the big noggin. You know what they say big head-big brain...therefore I think the big noggin is more from me :)

Lauryn is the cutest darn baby. As soon as we lay her on her back she flips to her belly and has started to scoot just a little. She will be crawling before we know it!
