Birthday Surprise!

For Lauryn's birthday, Al and I decided to surprise the girls with a quick trip to Disneyland. We picked the girls up wearing our Disney shirts...as soon as they got in the car they figured it out. We were already packed for our road trip!
3 thumbs up!
We arrived around dinner time and decided to walk around Downtown Disney than have dinner at Rain Forest Cafe.
Our first stop was the Lego store. Landree has been really into building the Friends Lego's. Here's Lily with a "friend".
It was then time to get some shut eye for our busy day at Disney!

Lily's Painting

While Landree was at Girl Scout Camp I set up for Lily to paint. They just opened new studios for "Paint and Party".
Casey and Sydney joined her for the "party".
The finished product and PaPa. She did a great job. It is hung very proudly in her bedroom.

and Yadi makes 6...

On July 9th, we added a member to the family. Meet Yadi! He is named after the catcher for the Cardinals, Yadier Molina. We decided to get a smaller dog for the girls and we preferred a poodle mix, exactly what we got. He has been really good. It's been hard adjusting to having a puppy, he still chews a lot and losing teeth. He is potty trained and can sit and go to his bed on command.

K-State vs. Miami

This post is major picture overload. Al and I traveled back to Manhattan to see the K-State vs. Miami game. We had an AMAZING time! I had so many great pictures and narrowed it down to these few :) We flew in Friday afternoon. Our first stop was Rock-a-belly Deli (of course). While drinking summer beers, the band arrived. It definitely gets you pumped up for the game!
We stopped first at Kevin's tailgate. Nothing better than Kevin's smoked meat and good friends!
Next was Dustin's and the Funk Bus. One of his friends made a huge blueberry cream cheese pancake and wrapped it with sausage. It was tasty!
Check out the cat! Renovations are under way for the bigger, better stadium.
It was Harley Day. Before the game started the Harley's lined the field and revved their engines.
Our hosts for the weekend, Ronna and Galen! Galen had a knee replacement a few weeks before. So it was good seeing him getting around and putting up with us. Ronna's sister also gave us her tickets to the game. They were first row!!
A weekend to remember...I would love to be able to get back every year to see a game. K-State is currently #6!! I told Al if they make it to a west coast bowl game we are there! Go State!!
