A BIG Thank You
A BIG Thank You to....
My Mom and Dad for helping with the food. Letting us use the hot dog maker, popcorn popper, making the coney dog chili, and helping with the clean-up.

Ginny, AKA the queen of dishes. Thank you for all of the pre-party madness and the post-party cleaning. You helped a ton for the entire week you were here.

Megan, the photographer, party-planner.
Notice the cold sore on my lip? I told Megan when she arrived for the weekend I get them when I'm stressed. She really took over much of the party and ran with it. We have decided either when we retire or when we have the guts we are starting a party planning business &/or boutique. (At least those are my goals :) Thank you so much Meg, for being our photographer. It was so nice not to have to worry about "getting the shot" and having a camera strapped around my neck. I love taking pictures but it was incredibly nice not having to worry about it. Thank you so much for designing the layout of the sweet table and the flow of the entire party. Thank you for your eye for detail!

Thank you so much everyone for a great weekend and celebration of our baby turning 2!

Dinner, Drinks & Dessert
We tried to make dinner as easy as possible. My parents have a hot dog maker and popcorn machine. It was nice having the hot dogs done with chili toppings, chips and popcorn ready! It seems at other parties someone is always stuck continually cooking or cleaning up. Having it ready was great- no extra fuss!

Of course we had to have orange and pink punches. Along with water, Sangria and iced tea.

Dessert was white and chocolate cupcakes for the birthday girl.

Candy Table
Orange and Pink Decor
I have seen many blog posts on orange and pink decorations for birthday parties, I knew that was the "theme" I wanted to use for Lauryn's birthday.

I made Martha Stewarts tissue pom-poms for our backdrop behind the drinks.

Cheetos played a major roll on all of the guest tables. Not only does Lauryn love them, they match the scheme perfectly!

Birthday Girl
Our youngest turned 2 a couple months ago. Yep, I'm way behind on blogging!
Lo is our nickname for her. She really is a absolute delight. The party was amazing and I can't wait to blog about it. But it's going to take a bunch of posts!
A little about our 2 year old...
Lo loves to play on her own. I think that's because she has 2 sisters that continually pester her. Her favorite toys are babies, puzzles, and legos. She loves Dora but doesn't really sit long enough to watch anything. Her favorite DVD to watch is Baby Songs. Lo counts to 10 and beyond and knows all her ABC's. She is very stubborn on using the potty. Although I think she would really perfer to go poopy in the potty she just forgets to tell us she needs to go. Lo is an awesome sleeper. She shares a room with Lily now and sleeps in the bottom bunk. She sleeps at least 11 hours a night and naps between 2 and 3 hours a day. Lo loves her snacks and juice. She really doesn't have a favorite food but is not a fan of vegetables. She is very polite and says consistently please and thank-you. In some ways she is shy and others very independent and social. Which is a good mix of the other 2.
At 2 years old she is so much fun!

School Open House
Lily and her teacher Mrs. Delzeit. She is actually Lillian in class. There's another Lily. She doesn't mind at all. It's been hard for me to get use to everyone calling her Lillian.

Landree listening to books in Lil's room.

We were taking around the different "stations" they have in their room. I think most of it is part of their daily activity.

At the time I didn't take any pictures of Landree in her classroom because I didn't want to embarrass her. Now I regret it...
