Softball

Landree started coach-pitch softball last week with a league from ASA. We really got lucky with her team. She showed up last week for practice and her coach is her librarian and her husband! She has had 2 games so far. We are having so much fun with it. She really enjoys it so far. They had a game tonight and on the way home I asked her if she had fun. She said, "I was a little bored". She always wants to be in the action. For 5 years old she bats great! She's hitting the ball on the first or second pitch. She played the right field and short stop as well. The ball went to her a couple times and she threw it back to the pitcher. I think the times she gets bored is in the field just waiting for the ball. After the game one of the coaches said to me that she was really doing a good job. He said half the battle is the girls wanting to play and she wants to play. I hope she'll always want to play for Al's sake. He wants a little Jenny Finch!
