Last night was Aggie-Roberts Open House (Landree's school). They had a short assembly and introduced the teachers and staff. The 5th grade choir sang and all the kids got up and did the Roberts Roadrunner song. It was really cute. We then went to Landree's classroom and got to see everything she had been doing her first week of school as well as some pictures the teacher had taken. Landree showed us the library and we met the librarian and the art teacher, Mr. Boring, whom she loves. She was so excited for open house!
Today Landree wanted hot lunch at school. So she said she had hot dogs, applesauce, carrots, and chocolate milk. She wants hot lunch again tomorrow. It's fine with us-so much easier!
Lily is the same- we call her silly Lily. This week she has been taking her backpack and lunch to Michele's just like Sissy. I ask her how old she is she always says 5 and holds up 3 fingers. She so wants to be like her big sister.
My niece, Sam, started kindergarten yesterday. I included a picture of her and my sister, Lisa. It's a great picture.
One more thing... Landree's school collects Box Tops for Education. They are on a lot of products now. Please start saving these for her school. The money all goes to a good cause, new playground equipment, computers, books, etc.. Send them to me when you get a bunch! Thanks!
