Landree's last day of preschool was yesterday- yeah! I know she will miss all of her friends at Childtime. She has been going to school with the same kids for the past 2 years. Audrie is her best friend from school, Ethan is her wantabe boyfriend, and then there is Sara, Taylor (Tay-Tay), and her teacher Ms. Rhonda. We hope to start Lily in preschool at Childtime in the next couple of months.
Today we had Kindergarten Orientation. Landree will be going to Aggie-Roberts Elementary. Their mascot is the road runners. We actually saw a couple road runners at Al's park last week so that was pretty neat for her. Her new teachers name is Mrs. Heimark. She has been teaching for around 25 years. I think she will be perfect for Landree, strict and to the point. Al and I are both excited for her to start. Megan, Olivia, and Sophie arrived last night from Grand Junction for the weekend. So we had a late night and an early morning. Landree already got very bored with the teacher talking and said out loud more than once, "Are we done yet?" Not a great first impression! I could tell she was very tired and just wanted to play with her cousins. Hopefully she starts on the right foot on Monday. I would have some great pictures of her and her teacher but I forgot my camera at the school! I will definitely have pictures of her first day of school and of the weekend with Megan and the girls posted soon.
