Last Day of School

This was the first day of first grade.

And today was the LAST day. Forget the fact she starts second grade in 3 and a half weeks! Not much of a summer break! The girls will be on a regular 9 month schedule next year. Yeah! Landree had a great first grade year! She was on the A+ Honor Roll again. Her lowest grade was a 97%. Keep it up Lu...it'll hopefully pay for your college! We are very proud of this little lady even through the occasional grief she gives us.

Now the decision on whether to cut her hair or grow it long. What do you think???

Grow it long! I remember when she was like 3 with long flowing brown hair with big giant curls and someone stopped us on the strip and was ranting/ raving about her hair and how people pay a lot of money to have hair like that....It is amazing! Aunt Meg (with no hair)

I asked Landree if she was going to let it grow long, cut it, and donate it again. She said, "No way!" I agree with Aunt Meg about her hair being gorgeous long. I also agree that Landree's hair was cute short. I loved the flip in her first day of 1st grade picture. Reality question is "How much time will it take to fix both girls' hair in the morning if they both have long hair?" Which is easier? For me, long hair is easier. If I'm running late, I just put it in a ponytail (not very profesional looking). Either way you go, she is always going to be beautiful. ~Liana

So who's hair is it anyway? If Landree put a post on her blog "Now the decision on whether to cut mom's hair or grow it long. What do you think???". How would you like that? She is an A+ student she is smart enough to decide on how she wants her hair.
