My little kindergartner! Her teacher's name is Mrs. Delzeit. She seems to be very nice. She sent home a little bio on herself. We found out she grew up in Colorado Springs. Went to college at Fort Hays State and played volleyball. She still plays volleyball for the national team in town and also is assistant coach at the catholic high school. She also said she is a sports fan and likes the Broncos, Nuggets, and Kansas University. So obviously she's not perfect :) but we have very similar backgrounds and interests! We made sure Lily took her K-State folder and she will wear K-State gear during football and basketball season. It's going to be a great year!
2nd Grade! Landree was very excited to start second grade. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Sharapan. She seemed very nice and Landree really liked her. Landree started a new school this year and she was very nervous about not knowing anyone. She shouldn't have a problem making friends.
The girls are excited to be going to school together. They saw each other as Lily was coming out of art class.
Landree was very nervous lining up to go into school.
Lily made it through her first day! I need to add she cried when she went to the classroom. It broke my heart. I wanted to stay with her.
Big girl, she had a great day. I hope she continues to like school. She fell asleep on the way home and had no problem going to bed.

Man! It seems like just yesterday that Lily was a brand new smiling baby, and now she's in school!
I saw your girls (and Al) at Fresh & Easy yesterday, and Lily looked so happy and excited to be in Kindergarten. They both looked so cute in their school clothes.
How sweet. I forgot to ask you how they went but it seems that it all went great. Can't wait to ask them about it and receive the "Nothin'" and "Fine" responses that you normally get from kids when you ask them about school. So cute.
I love Lily's hair. It looks so much thicker. I'm glad everything worked out for them. Must have been pretty rough on mom to see Landree so nervous and Lily crying. Great courage girls/Great job Mom! :) ~Liana
