I was playing around on blogs. Which means I went to one blog, to another, to another... I found information on Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. Well needless to say I went straight to Amazon and ordered it. It was only $9.00 including shipping so I figured worth a try. With 3 kids, ahhhhh, my body (mostly belly) has gone to kaput. I think it has something to also do with being a few years over 30. It is much harder to lose weight and honestly I have way less will power (or laziness?) So as soon as I get this, it's ON!
Here's to another goal- and the complete insane part! Click here. So what do you think? Who's in? Since I moved here I have wanted to do the 1/2 marathon. So is this the year? I figure if I kick my butt into gear with the 30 day shred I can start training for the 1/2 marathon in September. 3 full months of training for a 1/2- Do you think it will be enough time?
Am I totally crazy or what? If anyone is interested in craziness (Kim, Shauna you guys are marathon runners!) maybe I can put a Galvin Chiropractic team together! How much fun would that be!

I have finally determined the only way I will ever have a flat stomach is through surgery. It is much, much harder for me to lose weight and I am sure my age has something to do with it. Good luck on the 1/2 marathon! I run down our street and almost pass out.
Gee Dr. G I would like to help out running with the marathon team but I can't
I refuse to walk other than when necessary so running would surely be out of the question.
A doctor friend once told me once that Walking can add minutes to your life. That would enable me at 85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $7000per month.
I do love to drive though.
Dr. G in answer to your comment on my blog 4 is the last one
I bought the DVD 2 months ago. It's not hard...when you leave it sitting in the bestbuy bag in the back of your car! Ha! I've got to get started, oiy! Thanks for the fabulous idea of vinyl numbers for our front door. I hadn't thought of that. I could use my cricut machine and make them myself. Thank you! Thank you! Please, visit again anytime. Blessings to you.
I was thinking about participating in a marathon back when Kim and Shaunda was doing it. "Thinking" is the key word! I wanted to do something during the upcoming school year. Work tends to take up too much of my life, and really, people don't want to hear about it. I want to continue with the piano for the brain stimulation and to ward of alzheimer's. The marathon may correct the body issues. Can we try to get a nurse or CPR certified person on the team?
Forgot to put my name on it! Talking to a friend on the phone about all the men at Walmart hitting on her. A bit too creepy Do any of you have this experience. I haven't, but my husband ususally goes to the store, or if I go, he goes with me. ~Liana
Wow!!! That is great! December 6th? Maybe I should do some training of my own and fly myself out to Vegas for it!!! Good Luck!!!
Liana,
All the men at Walmart hitting on your friend? All the men? Did she wear slinky clothes or what? You need to ask a few more questions although I had a guy hit on me once at Walmart but that was because I took his parking spot. He wouldn't stop hitting on me.
I am in!!! I would love to do a half. Where at?
