Some goodies

I normally use my Nikon but I took my point and shoot out last night. Upon downloading pictures I found these on the camera. They were from our trip to Kansas. I really like the ones of the girls.

I jumped on the bandwagon

and saw New Moon on opening night! Crazy! Some friends met at Town Square to eat, shop and watch the movie. We had dinner and drinks at Tommy Bahamas. It was tasty...

Picture before the movie. I made shirts for all of us. Simple white shirts with iron on patches from here. A "token gay guy" (that's what he called himself) took this picture so excuse the poor quality. He sat near us at the restaurant and really was nice. We all left at the same time and he captured us at our best-not! The best part was he said Shauna's hair was "f..king fantastic".

So, my thoughts on the movie. It was good and it followed the book well. That is all I'm going to divulge! There was a shot of Edward without his shirt on. You should have heard all the girls scream.

The best part about...foreclosures

is the crap they leave behind. Well another man's trash is another woman's treasure! Thank goodness I am married to the master of dumpster diving! We found this treasure and hauled the heavy thing home.

We had to add BJ's perfect lemons from his tree.

And a bunch of gourds and corn from Walmart at a penny a piece. Yep, that's right a whole .05 cents for my Thanksgiving decor.

After a good scrubbing and a little paint this is the finished product. I only need about 20 more bottles of wine to fill her up!

More from photo shoot

Here you go Meg! I have a bunch more but I think these are all the best.

A fugly chair redo...

A friend was having a garage sale (like a year ago) and I fell in love with these chairs. Who wouldn't, right? I had big plans for these chairs. I found a bolt of fabric at a garage sale for $10 and away we went. My husband had the job of ripping up that purty orange fabric and put the gorgeous brown on.

The finished product. The pillows are made from place mats.

The best part of the chair is it's super comfy! The large pillow is made with down. Lauryn thinks it's nice and comfy!

I have another purty orange chair if anyone is interested. We think one is enough for us, plus I have major plans for the rest of the fabric.

A photo shoot

Our pretty girls! I have a bunch more to go through. I'm pretty happy with how the pics turned out. Lauryn was completely uncooperative. She just wanted to chase the ducks but she looks pretty darn cute doing it.
