we are freezing our booties off! This week we are in the 40's for a high. The mountains got dumped on last night and the city areas close to them had a lot of snow. On the news last night their was a bunch of kids building snowmen and sledding. We were not fortunate enough to have any snow where we were. There is still a chance in the next couple of days, so keep your fingers crossed.

Busy doing...
what I'm not sure besides making big messes! Seriously, I have been trying to "craft" teacher gifts, presents, and decorations. Today Lily, Lauryn, and I made another trek to JoAnn Crafts and I have yet to craft much. I completed my BIG G garland thing, put the stockings up (finally- we don't have a fireplace so I couldn't figure out where to put them). I have chili on the stove and I am ready to start making goodies. I wish I had more time in my days to complete everything I would like to. I have great ideas...

My BIG G!

I made reindeer with the girls hands and feet.

The chili on the stove with my baking goods ready to go!

This is my mess of crafts on the table. Al is hating this... he's my little neat freak.

There is no denying it....
Santa
Last night we went down to the Fashion Show Mall on the strip to see Santa and visit Build-A-Bear. We were fortunate enough to see the Santa show. Santa comes out with some "helpers" and dances around. It snowed as well (soapy stuff) on all of us. The show was really cute, I think they change it every year. I remember last year he drove off in a red convertable with his "helpers" (the pretty girls in the green suits). The girls sat on Santa's lap as well and told him what they wanted. They all did great!

O Christmas Tree
Our Christmas decorations are up! I love Christmas decorations- the twinkling lights, the colors of red and green, poinsettas, garland, and wreaths. Now I just need to get the presents wrapped to be put under the tree. We are officially on the count down for Christmas. Landree asks me daily how many more days left. (An advent calendar is on my list to purchase)
