Deanna Rose Farm

We went to the Deanna Rose Farmstead in Kansas City. I had heard a lot about it from friends. It is free to get in and they have activities through-out the park that are very inexpensive. I think we spent less than $10 for the 3 hours we spent there and we rushed through it! If you ever go through KC with kids it is well worth the stop!

The girls were checking out the map.

Our first "activity" was panning for gems. The girls got a little bag full of rubies, emeralds and sapphires.

We checked out the dairy barn.

We fed baby goats milk. Lauryn was crying and complaining because she wanted the bottles of milk. She was throwing an absolute fit! She hasn't had a bottle of milk in almost a year. So funny!

Lauryn also caught her first fish!

Landree and Lily went for a ride on a horse.

We saw lots of pretty flowers!

And Lauryn rode on Daddy's back!
