Easter Activities Take 1

On Saturday we attempted an Easter activity that Clark County sponsored. I say we attempted because we saw the lines for the rides and candy and said forget it! The girls played on the playground for a bit and then we headed down to the District. I LOVE the District. It is an outdoor shopping area close to Green Valley Station. The shops there are all of my favs like, Anthropology, Downeast Basics, Janie and Jack, Pottery Barn, and that's just a few. We had lunch at Al's Garage. We were able to sit outside the girls were able to run around. It was really nice and actually relaxing. We then headed to the Carousel there as well. The girls had a blast. It was Lauryn's first official ride on anything. I put her up on the horse and she resisted majorly! She was pulling my hair trying to get off and crying. I made her stay up there and as soon as the ride started she was laughing, smiling, and waving at the passersby.
