First Day of First Grade and Another Tooth!

Landree's first day of first grade was a success! She was more than ready to start. Last night she told us that she has her own desk. At night a "desk fairy" comes in to see if they have kept their desks clean. If they are clean they get a ticket. The tickets are later used to buy prizes.

Landree lost her 2nd bottom tooth right before school. She was on her way in to get dressed and came running back and said her tooth just fell out. The darn tooth fairy forgot to come last night. (I'm not making Mom of the year this year!) She looks so cute with her teeth gone and she talks with a little lisp.

Landree picked out her outfit from Kohl's. She had her pick of what she wanted to wear.

The 3 monsters. Lauryn is wearing the dress that Landree wore on her first birthday.

Landree's teacher is Mrs. Estrada. She was one of the kindergarten teachers last year so Landree already knows her well. She is very pregnant with her first daughter. Mrs. Estrada is due the end of October and the kids are out the whole month of November. Hopefully she won't have a substitute much.
