Update- We are alive!

I can't believe it's been close to 2 weeks since I last blogged. It's not because we haven't been BUSY! We have also been hit with a little bit of the stomach flu- Not Swine/H1N1.

Here is the start of the last couple weeks-
Landree's Girl Scout Troop raised a bunch of money with their cookie sales. We took some of the money and had a Ice Cream Social at the Henderson Senior Center. While the seniors ate their lunch the girls entertained them with The Girl Scout Promise, a couple girl scout songs and then each girl went up and sang a song. Landree sang a couple different songs, 5 Green Speckled Frogs, Island Princess song, and Mr. Sun. We did not prepare at all but she did a great job. It was fun seeing the seniors react to the girls.






Here's the best part- I picked up the sugar free ice cream for the social before it started so I could keep it frozen. I went to Albertson's and bought 13 containers. I thought I got them all out of the jeep. Last week (over a week after the social) Al went to go somewhere with Landree and she was trying to get a piece of paper under the seat. Well there was chocolate ice cream all over the floor of the passenger seat. I forgot a container! Thank goodness the ice cream is sugar free and has no milk in it therefore no SMELL!! And the jeep can be hosed out.
