Ramblings

I thought when I started this I would try to post something on a daily basis. First, my life is way too boring and second, I don't have time! Weigh-in last night went well. I have lost 3.6 pounds. My mom and dad also did very well (they lost more than me). I am very proud of both of them. Hopefully we can all keep it up through the holidays and get to our goal weight. It would be great if we had the money and time to run off to the beach in our skimpies when we are all at the goal.

The girls are fantastic. Lauryn is now 6 weeks. She smiles so much. I can just talk to her in a happy, high-pitched voice and she smiles so big. Landree started her track break on Tuesday. She is out of school until December 1st. We started her in a recreation center a couple days a week and she is hanging with Mom and I a couple days. She is starting to read books. We have been reading the Learning to Read series. She recognizes many words and can sound most of them out. She loves books so reading is fun for her. Lily is doing very well. She's our lovey. Throughout the day she just out of the blue says, "I love you Mommy". It melts my heart. We are starting her in preschool after the first of the year. Landree and Lily love to color and Lily is really starting to excel at it. She has also started to write her name. She can write the Lil pretty well.
